Audrina
joined Constructive Dialogue to pursue her interest in architectural
practice founded on social research and community service. She brings
to the firm experience in large commercial practices that enabled
her to develop technical design and project co-ordination skills.
Examples of that experience include work on a civic cultural centre
and a highrise development of 164 apartments
in Southbank, Melbourne. These projects required her collaboration
as part of small teams working with local artists, designers and
community groups. Each project explored concepts of community design,
such as the apartment project focusing on establishing "villages"
within a dense
living environment to encourage small scale interaction.
Audrina has found Constructive Dialogue to be an encouraging environment
where everyone is given the opportunity to learn new skills and
work with people from different social and cultural backgrounds.
