BArch
(hons) BSc (arch)
Caroline
developed her interest in the social processes of architecture through
honours research on the "leftover spaces" of the city:
how back lanes, hidden corners and areas under bridges are used
by homeless people and others. Upon graduating she worked on the
Housing for Health program
set up by Healthhabitat
to improve
people's living environments and consequently their health.
Caroline
participated in Housing for Health surveys in Indigenous
Communities in regional NSW and Cape York and took part in hands
on work to improve the buildings and their surrounding environment.
She has also
participated in art installations in public spaces, including the
Next Wave exhibition at the Melbourne Commonwealth Games.
Caroline joined Constructive Dialogue due to its
focus on community based design solutions. This offers an ideal
environment for her to expand her interest in the crossover between
architecture and client well being.
