Salvation Army Corps Batemans Bay
In Process

The increasing numbers of people involved in the Corps and growing needs in the area has led to the Army constructing a new Corps as a centre of community and a place of worship. Underlying design issues include:

> keeping costs low through use of a simple building form, repeated structural frame and integration of low-cost robust materials.
> creating externally-focused rooms, organised around a series of garden courtyards stepping down the site, as places to meet and areas for activities.
> establishing several multi-function rooms oriented to differing group sizes and needs, from counselling to large meetings.
